ІНСТИТУЦІЙНІ ОСНОВИ ЗАБЕЗПЕЧЕННЯ НАЦІОНАЛЬНОЇ КОНКУРЕНТОСПРОМОЖНОСТІ В ЗНАНІЄВІЙ ЕКОНОМІЦІ

The article proves the constitutional role of the national innovation system in the institutional framework of the country in post-industrial economy. The idea, that the formation of the national innovation system that is adequate to the knowledge economy should be based on the establishment of the new institutional class – institutions of the knowledge generation as basic elements of the system is described. The traditional institutions of the knowledge generation are: scientific institutions – Academy of Sciences, research laboratories, design offices, educational institutions – schools, colleges, institutes and universities, and the institutions whose activities are connected with the production of high-tech products. The new institutions of knowledge generation include: information structures, technolo y parks, venture capital firms, global corporations, and innovative clusters. The article concludes with the thoughts on that the state of financial support of the development of the knowledge generation institutional network would improve the national competitiveness. The conclusion about the creation of “innovation elevator” promoting the transformation of intellectual property rights in intellectual capital is made.
