Advancement in farm activities can lead the agricultural domain to transform into intelligent and dynamic sector from being manual resulting in higher production with lesser human supervision. This paper describes an advanced irrigation system which monitors and maintains the desired soil moisture content via automatic watering depending upon the necessity. Microcontroller Arduino Uno platform is used to implement the control unit. The setup uses different sensors that measure the various parameters such as soil moisture, water level, temperature, presence of light.
