This article is devoted to the study of the influence of the medium and methods of dispersing Al2O3 aluminium oxide nanofibers. Ultrasonic modelling, the addition of stabilizers (surfactants) and mechanical dispersion using a ball mill were used in the work. The concentration of suspensions prepared on the basis of distilled water was 0.25 wt. %. An aqueous solution of sodium citrate with a concentration of 0.2% (Na3C6H5O (aqueous solution) 0.002M) and ethyl alcohol (C2H5OH) was used as the surfactant. The results showed that the smallest particle size is observed in the medium of ethyl alcohol
