Sistem Pakar Diagnosis Hama dan Penyakit Tanaman Stroberi Dengan Metode Certainty Factor Berbasis Web

Strawberries are rich in antioxidants which are very beneficial for health and have a high selling value. However, the production of strawberry harvest has decreased significantly. Pests and diseases are the cause of decreased levels of strawberry production. Farmers are aware of plants that are attacked by pests or diseases, but sometimes do not know the type of disease and how to control it. The limited manpower and time of the experts make the knowledge possessed by the experts not conveyed properly to farmers. This shows the need for the application of expert system technology in maximizing the identification of pests and diseases to improve the quality and quantity of strawberry fruit production. This study designed an expert system for diagnosing pests and diseases on strawberry plants using the Certainty Factor method and supported by a web-based Forward Chaining inference engine. The system will analyze based on the symptoms experienced by the user and calculate the Certainty Factor value to find the percentage of confidence. The results of the diagnosis are displayed in the form of the name of the pest or disease, the percentage of confidence and the solution for handling it. Based on the results of the tests carried out, the overall functionality of the application has been functioning properly
