СУЧАСНИЙ УНІВЕРСИТЕТ: РИНКОВИЙ ПОТЕНЦІАЛ СТРАТЕГІЇ РАЦІОНАЛЬНОГО КОНСЕРВАТИЗМУ

Rational conservatism in modern education is considered as an element of the university’s institutional and value identity, aimed at maintaining the widespread foundations of educational activity, with maximum use of the advantages of deep social roots; the direct goal of such a market model is the formation of leaders for business, politics and education. The advantages of rational conservatism include the possibility of consciously limiting conjunctural factors (which give rise to stereotypes of clip thinking), the possibility of using wait-and-see tactics in conditions of too rapid changes. It is shown that digital competences do not work properly if the student does not have the ability to pay attention for a long time and the skills of indepth literacy. The conclusion is substantiated that the potential of “deep roots” gives students the opportunity to independently prioritize their professional activities, forms the skills of mandatory distinction between important and unimportant, vision of a broad context of facts, events and ideas
