Hundreds of natural compounds are produced by plants that are used in defense against countless diseases, managing insects, fungi and herbivores. Many phytochemicals with possible biological activity have been recognized. Though, as one plant contains extensively diverse phytochemicals, the use of one plant as a whole is uncertain. The current investigations were made to screen Acacia ampliceps Maslin for its phytochemical and antimicrobial potential. Results proved the detection of natural products as alkaloids, tannins, reducing sugars, saponins, flavonoids, terpenoids and anthraquinones. Furthermore, we examined the antibacterial activity of the four different solvent extract samples (ethyl acetate, ethanol, chloroform and methanol) agai...
