This study aims to describe simply the strengthening of the concept of religious moderation and harmonization of knowledge as an effort to prevent radicalism at IAIN Pekalongan. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The results showed that the strengthening of the concept of religious moderation at IAIN Pekalongan through: the establishment of a house of religious moderation and the internalization of moderate Islamic values in lectures were carried out with four approaches, namely: a contributive approach, an additive/additional approach, a transformative approach, and a social action approach.
