Water is an essential element to maintain life on earth. Access to water can be regarded as a basic human right. Water is more or less regarded as free community in general. But around the world, water is now treated as more than a natural resource but as a socio economic resource. It provides various economic benefits to individuals and industries through its use in productive activities. At present, India is facing a serious water crisis. At this point of time, India has 16 of total population of the world but only 4 of world's total water resources.
