This is a one and half year study of classrooms of two post-graduate courses in a research institute. The two cases which are presented here concern conscious efforts taken to provide psychological support to students, faculty and staff and maintain students’ interest and motivation in the course during COVID pandemic. Overcoming the challenges of online education and stressful environment, the courses were run fruitfully. The support by the research institute was also valuable. This study is important as it shows a holistic perspective towards structured education in the classroom and its impact.
