Using the active learning methods in Ukraine medical schools is one of the important aspects of improving teaching and learning activities and the development of communication skills of medical students. This is especially true for the first years of training in Ukraine medical universities, when students have to study theoretical subjects. The most appropriate method for active learning of theoretical disciplines of medicine is case-method specific situations. Using the case method teaches students specific situations such qualities as initiative, creative problem solving, willingness to act in various conditions, and the ability to flexibly respond to what is necessary not only to future doctors, but also ordinary people
