Background: Study on effect of shame related to psychological instability in offspring is scarce. Given recognized negative impacts of shame related to dysfunctional behaviour in grown-ups, this is important to study the shame practiced through youth who are undergoing cure for emotional well-being. In any case, no scale for estimating shame in younger youth is available at this time.
