The article examines the intellectual roots of Eurasian doctrine. Which is addressed through analyzing the evolution and development of Russian social and political thought în the first half of the 19th century. At the same time, it is argued that the Eurasian doctrine gained real shapes specifically în the '20s and' 30s years of the 20th century, being formulated by some Russian intellectuals displaced în the West after the Russian civil war, during Russian forced migration. The article approaches, as well, other two historic periods în the development of Eurasian doctrine, specifically, the period after the Second World War and the following period that took place after the collapse of the Soviet Union
