This article examines a new concept that has recently emerged from the contributions of the German historian Alexander C.T. Geppert, for whom a series of hetereogeneous cultural elements, but related to the Space Age, can be grouped into a single field of historical study, which he calls Astroculture. After reviewing the traditional links between the Space Race and ufology, the paper analyzes how the latter can be inserted into Astroculture, and the consequences that would follow.English version translated from Spanish original
