The book includes an analysis of expropriation of German private assets after the World War Two. The book contains three chapters. The opening chapter provides a historical background of treatment of Germany after the World War Two, especially decisions on the war reparations. Chapter I focuses on the period between 1914 and 1945 including Polish-German relations after the World War One, origins of the World War Two and the role of the chief Allied powers during the World War Two. Chapter II provides an overview of Polish legal acts, which regulate transfers of ownership of private German properties. Chapter II presents the effects of Yalta Conference and Potsdam Conference.
