The proposed work presents an Energy-efficient, low dropout (LDO) regulator with switching mechanism reduces the energy consumption of IoT devices when the sensors are in idle time. Based on the analysis of IoT devices and sensors, modern power management designs for IoT demands for fully integrated solutions to decrease power consumption while maintaining the quick transient response to signal variations. LDO voltage regulators, as power management devices should adjust to modern technological and industrial trends.
