Gerbillus quadrimaculatus Lataste, 1882. Le Naturaliste, 2:27. TYPE LOCALITY: Sudan, Nubia. DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality, NE Sudan. COMMENTS: Lay (1983) remarked that although most authors list this form equivocably under G. nanus, it should be kept separate until a revision is available.Published as part of Guy G.
