Abstract Introduction: The incidence of cancer has doubled between 1990-2016 and the crude DALY has also increased by 25.3%. Neoplasms are the seventh leading cause of death in the country. Women are largely affected by cancer of the breast, cervix uteri and men are commonly affected by cancer of the lungs, lip-oral, stomach, colorectal and esophagus. Cancer trends helps to identify patterns and progress of disease which will further aid research, policy decisions and clinical practice/ services. The aim of this paper is to identify the cancer trends in different zones of India.
