Department of Chemistry, School of Basic Sciences and Humanities, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur Manuscript received 15 March 1983, accepted 26 November 1983 рH-metric and conductometric studies of the complexes formed by Cu(II) with \(\propto\) -amino-oxy acids in aqueous medium at 0.2 M ionic strength reveal the formation of 1 : 1 and 1 : 2 complexes. The stability constants of the complexes formed were computed by the Calvin and Melchior method. The Cu(II) complexes of 2-amino-oxy acetic, propionic, butyric and isobutyric acid hydrobromides have log β1 values of 6.79, 6.44, 6.51 and 6.77, respectively and log β2 values of 11.90, 11.96, 12.68 and 11.81, respectively at 30±1˚
