ФЕНОМЕН ПРИРОДИ ЯК ЗАСІБ ТВОРЕННЯ КОНФЛІКТНИХ КОЛІЗІЙ У «СЛОВІ О ПОЛКУ ІГОРЕВІМ» ТА ЙОГО АНГЛОМОВНОМУ (В. НАБОКОВ) ТА НІМЕЦЬКОМОВНОМУ (Р.М. РІЛЬКЕ) ПЕРЕКЛАДАХ

The article is devoted to revealing the translation specifics of the phenomenon of nature in «The Song of Igor’s campaign», the role of nature in the creation of conflicts in the original text and the peculiarities of its English translation of V. Nabokov and in the German version by R.M. Rilke. The author has argued that the natural phenomenon in the composition has a multilevel semantic filling. Personified in the image of animals and birds, nature directly affects all the events of the work. With the help of the phenomenon of nature, conflicts are modeled and are not found the external canvas of the composition, but in the inner being of heroes. V. Nabokov and R.M. Rilke tried to accurately convey the special role of the phenomenon of nature in the artistic space of the original, while V. Nabokov tends to translate more literally, and R.M. Rilke often uses his artistic images to transfer the corresponding artistic picture. The article emphasizes the main complex of problems of artistic translation appears in the perspective of a multilevel, complex interpretation of a literary work not only as a certain structured text, but also as a special type of artistic discourse associated with non-textual reality. The text «The Song of Igor’s campaign» presents a complex set of problems for the translator. The changes that interpreters make in the work cause differences with the original. At the same time, to create an adequate original of the artistic and emotional impression, V. Nabokov and R.M. Rilke have chosen quite accurate and expressive language and artistic images
