: Indonesia is one of the world's largest emitters of greenhouse gases, hence its attempts to reduce carbon emissions are of worldwide interest. The IESR (Institute for Essential Services Reform) did a research on the best decarbonization scenario, in which hydrogen plays a larger role in Indonesia's energy system. However, we must first understand how green hydrogen technology may reach zero carbon emissions before applying it.
