This research paper aimed to investigate the impact of the work environment on employee performance, with a specific focus on the mediating role of job satisfaction. The study was conducted at the UBL Bank Chakwal City Main Branch, utilizing a sample of 70 respondents. Data collection involved the use of questionnaires and direct interviews, while data analysis employed SPSS, utilizing Path analysis and the Sobel test. The findings of this study demonstrate a significant influence of the work environment on both job satisfaction and employee performance.
