RARE, ENDEM AND RELIGIOUS PLANTS OF THE BOTANICAL-GEOGRAPHICAL REGIONS OF THE GUBA AND SAMUR-SHABRAN PLAINS OF THE GREAT CAUCASUS

The article states that 14 species belonging to 9 chapters and 13 genera distributed in the forests of the botanical-geographical regions of Guba and Samur-Shabran lowlands are included in the "Red Book of the Republic of Azerbaijan" published in 2013. Of these, 5 types are "close to dangerous levels", 8 types are "vulnerable to extinction", Rosa Sosnowskyi Chrshan. and belongs to the category of "endangered". Of these species Salix kuznetzowii Laksch. ex Goerz., Pyrus salicifolia Pall., Betula raddeana., Pyrus vsevolodii Heidermann. and Rosa sosnowskyi Chrshan. are endemic to Azerbaijan and the Caucasus. Betula raddeana Trautv., Pinus kochiana Klotzsch ex K.Koch., Castanea sativa Mill., Quercus iberica Steven ex M.Bieb., Frangula grandiflora Grub., Carpinus orientalis Mill., Corylus avellana L., Cornus mas L., Fagus orientalis Lipsky., Philadelphus caucasicus Koehne., Mespilus germanica L., Prunus spinosa L., Cerasus incana (Pall.) Spach., Salix alba L., Ulmus scabra Mill. and Vitis sylvestris C.C.Gmel. species are widespread in the research area
