Objective Pregnancy induced Hypertension is one of the common medical complications of pregnancy that occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy. It contributes significantly to maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. This study was aimed to assess the prevalence of pregnancy induced hypertension and birth outcomes among women attending delivery service in Butajira General Hospital, Ethiopia. Descriptive cross-sectional study design was conducted from March 1 to May 30, 2019 among 342 pregnant women. Data were collected by five trained data collectors through face to face interview and reviewing of medical records.
