PRODUCTIVITY ANALYSIS IN IRAQI HOSPITALS

Analyzing productivity and efficiency in Iraqi hospitals using non-parametric frontier technique is important issue. Two indices approach are used: first, Malmquist productivity index (MPI), with output orientation, and the second is a Luenberger productivity indicator (LPI) that can measure by both input reduction and output expansion. A sample of three hospitals in (Baghdad) district are taken to evaluate the productivity progress and its decomposition efficiency change and technological change, over two year period (2014-2015).
