Conchological characterization of Moitessieria foui Boeters, 2003 (Gastropoda: Moitessieriidae)

Here we study a large sample of M. foui, on the basis of shells collected at Font de la Mata, which is situated ca. 100 m downstream from the type locality. These specimens allow us to provide a more detailed description of the shell, as well as to better characterize it from a morphometric viewpoint. On this basis, we provide an emended diagnosis that should help to distinguish M. foui from other species that have been described subsequently from Catalonia
