This file describes data files provided as part of the preprint "More readers in more places: The benefits of open access for scholarly books" and as supporting information for the report "Diversifying readership through open access: A usage analysis for OA books". We provide the list of titles used in the study, the citation data, and webometrics in the processed form used in the article. The main data for the paper is usage and other collected data. This data is proprietary to Springer Nature. A short example of the data format is provided. For each table we provide a checksum of the data table (calculated as described below) held as a cloud SQL database table for processing
