Proteopedia is a website with similar approach to well known sites like Wikipedia, but with a strong scientific focus towards structural biology. Its contents are a combination of automatic retrieval from databases and content contributed by users. In addition, the characteristics of a wiki are supplemented with the edition of interactive three-dimensional models of molecular structure, which are embedded into the page of each article that makes the wiki.
