Genetic diversity of 64 accessions (with biotypes 88) of diverse origin belonged to 9 species of tetraploid wheat got from ICARDA was studied with gliadin protein markers. Frequency of occurrence of electrophoretic patterns of gliadin stock protein components differed in ω-, γ-, β- and α-zones. Nei genetic diversity indices of gliadin patterns distributed in 4 zones were 0.959 in ω, 0.953 in γ, 0.958 in β and 0.946 in α-zone. High genetic polymorphism for electrophoretic patterns of gliadin stock protein components was determined among these genotypes
