Structure and Stereochemistry of Mollugogenol-G -A Triterpenoid Sapogenin from Mollugo hirta

The present communication reports the isolation of a new triterpenoid sapogenin called mollugogenol-G, the structure of which has been established as 3\(\beta\),16\(\beta\) ,22-trihydroxy-21\(\propto\)-H-hop-5-ens (1a).
