Objectives: Paralysis or vocal cord paresis due to iatrogenic recurrent laryngeal nerve injury (RLNI) is one of the serious problems in thyroid surgery. Recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) injuries represent one of the most feared complications after thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
