Background: Burnout is a leading cause of mental health problems in nursing professions. Yet, very little e has been studied about its development, and consequences. This studied is enabled to provide a comprehensive insight into the variables in relation to the most influencing theories. Methods: It is a quantitative empirical studies which analyzed the relationship between burnout and work place factors among the nurses of Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore. Results: Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) Scale was used measure burnout.
