The environmental impact of construction activities has risen considerably in recent decades. Greenhouse gas emissions are primarily emitted by buildings. Alternative green construction materials are necessary to reduce the environmental impact of building construction. Hemp is one such environmentally beneficial substance. Hemp is a plant-based material that can be used in a variety of construction applications. The purpose of this research is to see if hemp can be used in building construction. This paper will examine the many types of hemp used in construction, as well as their performance, by looking at case studies of buildings that have employed hemp as a construction material
