The paper the proper and forced steady oscillations of a curvilinear rod interacting with a viscous fluid is considered. On the basis of the principle of possible displacements, solving systems of partial differential equations and corresponding boundary conditions, we form mathemtical problem. The problem was solved numerically by the method of orthogonal drift of Godunov and Mueller's method, the natural frequencies of oscillations is founded, and are compared with the results of the experiment
