In this paper I have tried to capture the tenet of Universal brotherhood with a special reference to Sikhism. I have then compared it with the similar concepts found in Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. My aim is to show that the tenet of Universal Brotherhood is a value which unites all humanity into one family of being God’s children, irrespective of religion, region, caste or gender. It should be propagated to bring about the peace, equality, fraternity and liberty which the humanity is craving for. This paper is a part of an assignment for the subject of Indian Religions and Culture
