United Nations General Assembly has, through Resolution no. 64/292 dated July 28, 2010, recognized clean drinking water and sanitation as a basic human right. As a result, several International Organizations and world nations have stepped into strengthening their legal and policy based system to manage the affairs of providing clean water to its citizen.
