Theatre of the oppressed is hugely practicing in academics of India. Many universities are offering this versatile interactive theatre form to their theatre aspirants. The University of Hyderabad is a Central University located in Hyderabad which is in the southern part of India. Having more popularity in abroad, lack of contemporary practitioners, sometimes universities invite an expert in theatre of the oppressed to India to interact with their students. They will interact with students through workshops, then the mentors use to practice the particular form at the nearest practicable source.
