Textile-reinforced concrete and mortar (referred to as TRC, TRM or FRCM in the literature) are composite materials that can be used to fabricate lightweight elements and structural concrete with complex geometries in minimal thicknesses. In this paper, two different types of composites were developed by using bidirectional textiles composed of basalt (BFRP) or carbon/glass (CFRP/GFRP) fibres and a varying number of reinforcement materials (one to three layers). Later, the composite materials were applied on TRC I-beams and their load-carrying behaviour subjected to bending moments is presented.Paper 25
