BRAZIL AS A PRECURSOR OF THE 4TH AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION

ABSTRACT The present work addresses the issue of Brazil as a precursor of the 4th agricultural revolution. It is a matter of extreme need, since even being played as an exponent in the production of grains and animal protein, respecting all environmental protocols, much is said against Brazilian agribusiness and rural producers. This is a theoretical essay based on field studies and analysis of situations observed and described by technicians, extension workers, producers, scientists and researchers linked to the agricultural area. The general objective is to clarify the revolutionary dimension of Brazilian agricultural production and the pioneering spirit of individuals who work, directly and indirectly, in the field. Brazil has been showing itself, for more than half a century, as a major producer of agricultural products, commodities, technologies, innovation and development, making use of what is most elementary in its epistemic evolutionary achievement in the agricultural sector: the search for knowledge of objects about which it focuses, namely, nature, soil, plants, climate, animals and microorganisms and their respective behaviors in response to the management applied to them. This makes it an exporter, in addition to consumer goods, of pioneering technologies, which result in higher productions and with a greater positive impact on the environment and the consumer population
