Abstract: Data management is an essential part of any scientific research practice, where shortcomings in individuals' practices can turn very detrimental. Open Science provides additional opportunities, while increasing demands by funders require many scientists to revise and update their practices. During the workshop, we will lay the foundations for that, clarifying all the most important concepts, terminologies and approaches, to prepare the participants for this changed new research culture
