The prototype of a permanent magnet generator using eight double stator coils has been successfully constructed. This paper focuses on the prove of the double coil existences and the effect iron core addition to the coil in increasing the output potentials. The equipment resulted in this work is expected to be able to enrich the experiment of electricity and magnetism in the Physics study program at the undergraduate level. The results show that the addition of iron core on the coil causes an increase in output potential, i.e., from 2.5 Volts without iron core to 8.3 Volts with the iron core.
