Nerium indicum Mill belonging to the family Apocynaceae is a wild plant known kaner in Hindi as well as exile tree, Indian oleander. Phytochemical study of the plant root extracts reveals to contain various phytoconstituents like glycosides, flavonoids, carbohydrates, tannins and steroids.
