The study used an correlational method of research design. The researcher’s main goal described the views of the respondents on their challenges in teaching in the new normal and its relationship to learners' performance. The study was conducted at East 2 District of Iligan City Division during the School Year 2020 – 2021. The respondents of the study were 23 secondary teachers. The challenges of teachers were determined along teaching modular learning scheme implementing health protocols, parent’s competence in assisting their children, learner’s readiness for modular learning scheme, learner’s access to social support system, conduciveness of home as new learning environment.
