Crimes and criminal behavior are one of the important issues of Iranian society. Social capital as a very important factor in the occurrence and prevention of crime and criminal behavior can help us in explaining crime and criminal behavior. Using the theoretical framework based on the theories of Bourdieu and Putnam and previous research, 7 hypotheses were designed. In order to test the hypotheses, a sample of 380 people from 2918 years old Yazdi youths have been selected from all areas of Yazd city with a multi-stage quota random sampling method.
