Background: Thyroid disorders are the most common worldwide and also in India. It is well documented that renal status such as elevated serum creatinine and serum uric acid levels are associated with hypothyroid state of the body. Aims: To investigate the effect of hypothyroid state on Serum Creatinine and Serum Uric acid levels in an urban female hypothyroid population of reproductive age group in Eastern India.
