The article considers the provisions of civil legislation on the quality of banking services. Defined the concept of a banking service, individual characteristics. Attention was paid to the analysis of the quality of the banking service. Separate provisions on the “digitalization” of banking services were considered. Banking services are most common as they are provided to both individuals and legal entities. As a general rule, a banking service is considered as a result of a banking operation, that is, the result or useful effect of a banking operation (targeted labor activity of bank employees), which consists in satisfying the need declared by the client.
