About the Quality of Banking Services

The article considers the provisions of civil legislation on the quality of banking services. Defined the concept of a banking service, individual characteristics. Attention was paid to the analysis of the quality of the banking service. Separate provisions on the “digitalization” of banking services were considered. Banking services are most common as they are provided to both individuals and legal entities. As a general rule, a banking service is considered as a result of a banking operation, that is, the result or useful effect of a banking operation (targeted labor activity of bank employees), which consists in satisfying the need declared by the client. The Law of Ukraine “On Banks and Banking Activities” does not give a legal definition of the concept of banking service. Article 2. determines that there is banking activity. The article concluded that the analysis of this concept makes it possible to conclude that all the listed actions included in banking activities can be considered as services. The author proposed the definition of a banking service as an individual or complex of operations combined and carried out by the bank in such a way as to best meet the needs of the client. The author proposes to attribute to banking services provided to individuals: deposit deposits; Opening and maintaining current accounts lending; settlement and cash service; plastic cards; remittances; acceptance of payments; travel checks; rental of individual safes. For the listed entities of banking relations, it is important for the banking institution to perform the above actions (transactions) in good faith. Fair performance of duties indicates the quality of the banking service provided. The meaning of a word is associated with the establishment of features and properties of an object that allow it to be distinguished from other objects. At the same time, these features, properties should characterize the subject in question in terms of its positive suitability and maximum satisfaction of the needs of members of society
