The ever-increasing demand for electricity necessitates the development of higher-voltage, higher-power electrical conversion technologies. Power generation by renewable energy sources is increasing. Power electronic converters play an important role in the field of power generation, transmission and distribution. In the current scenario transportation is done with the help of electric vehicles, to overcome the pollution and high prices of fuel.
