A research on the ability of forming the clusters considreing the sectors development in Ukraine

The article focuses on the concept of regional development. Considering the globalization of markets, cluster analysis was defined as the main concept. The components included in the "Global innovation index " in Ukraine were included, and a comparative characteristic with other countries of the world was made as well. Having analyzed the quantitative structure of exports, imports and employment in Ukraine, conclusions were made about the attractiveness of industries. For the goal of comparison was used the ABC-analysis of economic sectors according to the CEA-2010, which identified subsections of the economy, occupying groups "A" and " B " on the following indicators: exports of goods, imports of goods, exports of services, imports of services, the number of enterprises, employment and science. Conclusions on the specifics of the industries of Ukraine were made
