ЦИФРОВІЗАЦІЯ ОСВІТНЬОГО ПРОЦЕСУ – ПРОВІДНИЙ ВАЖІЛЬ ПРИВАБЛИВОСТІ СУЧАСНОГО НАВЧАЛЬНОГО ЗАКЛАДУ

Due to the European integration processes affecting the higher education in Ukraine and the general globalization of the educational market, competition among universities is on rise with the struggle for a student going beyond one country and reaching the international level. The conclusion is drawn that for effective digitalization, universities need to significantly transform in order to provide greater competitive advantages. The transformation should take place on the basis of choosing a digitalization strategy that takes into account the peculiarities and specifics of a university. The article discusses priority tasks of the IT services of a university. It was concluded that teaching approaches should be changed. From knowledge transmitters, educators must transform into organizers and facilitators, their role changing from subject matter experts to that of guides and trainers. This will require educators to possess modern effective digital teaching tools and also to be well versed in pedagogical concepts that allow practical application of these tools. The digital transformation of the university involves the introduction of significant cultural and organizational changes, a change in corporate culture, and the optimization of all educational processes
