Approximate computing has emerged as a design paradigm suitable for applications with inherent error resilience. This paradigm aims to reduce the computing costs of exact calculations by lowering the accuracy of their results. In the last decade, many approximate circuits, particularly approximate adders and multipliers, have been reported in the literature.
