Law applicable to intellectual property objectives in private international law

Legal regulation of the objects of intellectual property by the International Private Law represent in our days a necessity, taking into account the phenomenon of globalization and digitalization, the possibility of infringement in any state the intellectual property imposes the need to study the law applicable to the objects of intellectual property. In this sense, this article focuses on determining the objects of intellectual property, researching the law applicable to the objects of intellectual property in private international law as an exception to the general rule lex rei sitae and aims to highlight the trends existing in state`s regulations regarding the objects of intellectual property and the solutions regarding the conflicts of norms as well as the reflection of the international judicial practice to protect the intellectual property through the prism of the private international law
